Particle

Exhibition Date:
02 Oct 2009
Venue:
Great North Museum: Hancock

Join D-fuse for a one-off contemporary performance of Particle specially created for Reinventing the City.

Working with the renowned North East collective Novak for this show, D-Fuse will incorporate the sights and sounds of Tyne & Wear into a live performance to create a stunning and evocative new work featuring our unique city.

Particle is an improvised and abstract piece that uses the exhibition space in the newly refurbished Great North Museum: Hancock in a completely different and unexpected way.

Using sound, light and video samples collected from Newcastle upon Tyne and other cities from around the world D-Fuse, collaborating with Local artists Novak, observe and document NewcastleGateshead with a fresh pair of eyes, building a montage of things we forget to notice in our daily routine.

This version of Particle has been specially created for Reinventing the City. Complimentary drinks will be served on arrival and a pay bar will be available throughout the evening

This is a free event, but capacity is limited and admittance will be on a first come, first served basis.
